Student Government
One of the opportunities Jupiter Christian School students have to develop and demonstrate leadership skills is by joining the Student Government Association (SGA). Students who serve on the Student Government Association (SGA) represent the individuals in their specific grade and strive to plan events amongst their grade that promote unity, spiritual development, and school spirit.
SGA members are elected by their peers after an exciting campaign process that includes applying for candidacy, campaigning with posters and speeches, and voting for the candidates that you feel will best represent your class. SGA election typically takes place in the spring for the following year. For an application, visit the Upper School Office.
The following SGA positions are offered in each grade:
• President
• Vice-President
• Spirit Chair
• Service Chair
• Student Council
• Secretary (12th Grade Only)
Club Leadership
However, our spiritual life department does oversee a few specific spiritual life programs that focus on intentional spiritual development amongst the student body. These programs include chapel, missions, community service and GAP groups (small groups focused on growth, accountability, and prayer). For more information on these programs, select the individual links to the left, or contact Mr. Charlie Hubbard, Campus Pastor
