Every year we designate a specific time for all high school students to participate in intensive, hands-on, applied-learning activities during the week prior to spring break. This week is known as Minimester.
The courses offered are designed to fully involve the student in meaningful endeavors. The goal is that the experiences gained will impact the hearts and minds of students by challenging their beliefs and assumptions about the world.
Minimester has become a favored tradition with students. Many have acquired a new direction and focus as a result of the experience. The opportunities afforded also serve as extensions of the academic program, helping to establish essential links between what a student learns in the classroom and the world to which they have been called to serve.
