Security Campaign
It has been inspiring to see parents rally on every campus to prioritize JCS in their giving and propel us toward critical capital improvements to make our security even greater. This year, your generosity has helped raise $248,540. These dollars have already gone to work and will continue to be used over the next several months. $75,000 has been spent on increased JPD presence for the 2022-23 school year and the balance is being used to continue improving infrastructure and equipment on the West, East, and North Campuses such as increased video surveillance capabilities and a radio repeater for improved inter- and intra-campus communications.
We have made great strides toward our goal! In the near future, we plan to install ballistic-resistant glass, add wall structures to enclose exposed areas of our campuses, and complete fencing with electric remote access. These projects are all being quoted and scheduled, but further progress is dependent on additional funding.
