Believing that God, the Great Creator, has blessed each individual with creative gifts to reflect His character, the JCS Fine Arts Department seeks to nurture and encourage each student in the discovery of their God-given talents to bring glory to God and His kingdom. The programs in the Fine Arts Academy include choir, band, art, and theatre. Each area is committed to excellence through a developed academic course design, as well as a variety of performance opportunities. Choir, band, and art are involved in numerous school wide and community events and service projects. Our theatre has strong productions each year highlighting the gifts of our students. The Fine Arts Academy develops school leaders through our National Art Honor Society, the Tri-M Music Honor Society, and the Thespian Troupe.
