The Lower School creates an opportunity each year for students to shut out the noise and distractions of everyday life, long enough to quiet their souls and listen to the Spirit of God leading up to Easter. Journey to the Cross is a time for JCS students to meditate on the events of Jesus' final days and his resurrection. Located in the Lower School Music Room, "Journey to the Cross" runs for 30 minute time slots April 15-18. This journey is a self-paced, scheduled "in-house" field trip for teachers to share with their classes. Congratulations to our East Campus 1st grade students who made the Principal's List and Honor Roll for the 3rd quarter. We recognize that it requires a significant amount of effort and dedication to attain the level of academic success that each of these students have reached.
