Regional Semi-Final Playoff! Thursday, 2/21 is the Boys Basketball Regional Semi-Final Playoff game on campus. SGA would like to sponsor the first 50 JCS students only into the game that evening. We will have a table set up outside under the new black awning and at 6:30pm we will give out free admission wrist bands to the first 50 JCS students. Wear Black or RED and support your Eagles! Admission is $7 p/p for all faculty, staff, students and friends of JCS.

Re-enrollment Due: Seats Will Open to New Families After Friday

Current JCS families are encouraged to secure your student's spot for next year by this Friday! Families may log in to Plus Portals and electronically complete re-enrollment  forms and submit the $525 non-refundable deposit per child ($1575 per family). Please note that enrollment for new families will begin after February 22. Several classes currently have families waiting for open spots. The Admissions Office will be accepting students for open seats after February 22.

Please be aware of the following re-enrollment deadlines:

January 22 - Re-enrollment for current students opened (forms are available in your parent Portals)

February 15 - Financial Aid annual (re)applications were due for current families (new family Financial Aid applications are being processed now)

February 22 - NEW students will be accepted for any open seats

March 11 – Re-enrollment Fee will increase to $725, as seats are available

Let's Go Eagles! Upper School students (grades 7-12) come to our Spring Sports Pep Rally on Friday, February 22, during 7th period (1:53 - 2:45 p.m.), and get ready to have some fun! The rally will include a staff vs. student basketball game that is sure to be entertaining. Dress down for the day and wear RED (free of charge) for school spirit! *Dress-down guidelines apply. Parents are welcome to attend!

Do you have rhythm? Do you like to create and improve in music? Come and enjoy an afternoon of drumming activities designed to spark your creative juices! Open to grades 2-6, the Drum Circle Clinic will be held on Friday, February 22, from 3:00-4:30 p.m. in the Band Room. The fee is $25 and will be used to help send our middle school band to Universal Studios in the spring to perform! This clinic will be led by JCS Band Director and Fine Arts Department Chair Mrs. Hoffman. Please contact Mrs. Hoffman with any questions.

Beginning Tuesday, February 26th, a variety of artwork, created by Lower School students in grades 2-6, will be on display throughout the first floor of the West Campus in the Wild Florida Art Show. JCS families are invited to attend an opening reception that afternoon from 2:45-3:45 p.m. in the Lower School art room. Popcorn and lemonade will be served. The pieces, celebrating amazing Florida wildlife, will be available to view from February 26 - March 29. We are so proud of our young artists for their hard work and creativity as they begin to discover their God-given talents and abilities!

Join us for our GREATEST HITS GRANDPARENT'S DAY PROGRAM on  Friday, March 15th, at  9:00 a.m. in our West Campus Gymnatorium! Our Kindergarten - 6th grade students are enthusiastically preparing for this highly anticipated program honoring our JCS grandparents. Musical performances will showcase some of the greatest hits from Disney favorites and '50s music to beloved hymns and moving spirituals. Please be reminded that this is also an early release day and extended care is closed.

Calling all JCS parents! We are getting excited for the upcoming Dino-Mite Scholastic Book Fair, which will be held on our West Campus, March 11-15. The fair will offer book selections for students in preschool to 8th grade. We'd like your help to make this book fair experience for our students a stomping, chomping, reading good time!

There are a variety of ways to help from assisting students with book selections, pick up and drop off of refreshments for events or even ways you can help from home. We have several special events scheduled during the week for moms, dads, grandparents, and our East Campus families. If you would like to be a part of the book fair team, please take a look at the volunteer sign up and find the area that best fits your busy schedule.  

We are proud to partner with our JCS parents to help our students develop stronger reading skills and a life-long love for reading. Let's join together to make our book fair Dino-Mite!

JCS Moms' Bible Study is designed to give our moms the opportunity to take some time out to fellowship with other JCS moms, pray for each other, and delve into God's word together. Led by JCS mom and Grace Team Member Melissa Dyer, the group meets on Tuesdays from 8-9 a.m. on the West Campus in the Eagles Cafe. This semester's session began on February 5 with a 5-week study on Philippians. If you have not been able to attend yet, it's not too late to join in!

The Bear's Club Golf Invitational

Founded in 1999 by Jack and Barbara Nicklaus, The Bear's Club was created to offer members and their guests a world-class golf and club experience. Our annual golf invitational allows us to invest in added resources and provide new opportunities needed to mentor and nurture the leaders of tomorrow.
