The 42nd Annual Jupiter Tequesta Christmas Parade sponsored by JTAA will be held on Sunday, December 9th at 1:00 p.m. This year the parade theme is "Future Christmas." With a focus on the bright future of JCS and a staple of Jupiter life—Golf— the float will feature some members of our JCS golf team with a golf course, golf cart, cart path, green, pole and flag along with our slogan "Swinging FORE a bright FUTURE." We are excited that PGA of America has sponsored our float this year!

We would love for you and your family to help represent JCS and walk along side the float with us! Parade participants will need to plan to be at the parade from 11:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Any student below 7th grade must have a parent walk with them for the 1.5 mile route. Any questions please contact Jennifer Spear at (561) 262-9265.

2018/2019 Lunch Plan Selection

If you have not already done so, please log on to your plus portals account and complete the 2018/19 Lunch Plan Selection form for the 1-month trial extension. In order for our Eagle's Cafe to be prepared to provide the best service possible to our students, it is essential that we have your students food service program selection in the system. Even if you are choosing to have your student continue the year bringing their own lunch, we need to have that registered in our system. If you have already registered your child for the full year, there is no need to complete the registration form as your service will continue.

STRIVE

There is still time to give to our JCS STRIVE Holiday Service Project! Thursday, December 6th is the last day to bring in your donation. Please drop off your toy donation at the front desk of our East or West campuses. We will be delivering all of the toys to our ministry partners on Friday morning. Thank you to all of our JCS families who have given to this project to help others during the holiday season. Donation request lists for your child's grade can be viewed here: East Campus Grades PK2-1, LS Grades 2-4, LS Grades 5-6, and US Grades 7-12.

Semester Exam Schedule

The second quarter is quickly coming to a close and Semester Exams are upon us. We are very proud of our students and all that they have accomplished during this first semester of the year. Exam week is scheduled for December 18 - 21, with a dismissal time of 11:55 a.m. each day. Important exam week reminders:

  • It is very important that students be well rested and present for all exams. Make-up exams are for emergencies only and require prior approval from Mr. Zambrano's office.
  • Exams are from 8:00 – 11:55 p.m. Please drop your student off no later than 7:40 a.m. so that they can go to their locker and be in their assigned class and ready to start by 8:00 a.m.
  • Dismissal time is 11:55 a.m. daily.  Please allow your student at least five minutes to get out of class and get to car line.
  • If your student is not scheduled for an exam during a particular period, they are not required to be on campus. We will, however, be offering a study hall in the Media Center daily from 8:00 – 12:00 p.m. for your convenience for any student needing a place to study when they do not have an assigned exam to take.

Please see the attached Exam Schedule for more details. Please also assist us in encouraging our students to continue to work hard, to put their best effort forward, and to be faithful to reach their full potential inside and outside of the classroom. We are honored to stand with you in helping your child be all that he or she is called to be for Christ. Exam Schedule | Guided Practice Schedule.
