From the Desk of the President

Dear JCS families,

With Thanksgiving just a few days away, this week is the perfect time to reflect on all of God's blessings in our lives and at Jupiter Christian we have so much to be grateful for this year. As we began the new school year in August, we stood in awe of God's enduring faithfulness and the outpouring of blessings on our school. Our facilities have been enhanced and expanded with the opening of our new East Campus for students in PK2-1st grade, the transformation of our West Campus gymnasium and cafeteria, and the many new upgrades to our security program. Throughout our campuses, we have welcomed many new families to Jupiter Christian School and have been  blessed with the addition of some new faculty and staff who have brought their academic expertise and passion for inspiring students in a Christ-centered environment.

In early November, we gathered as a community for the Under the Sea Gala and Auction which was a tremendous success thanks to the faithful work of our Auction Steering Committee! In June 2018,  the faculty and staff successfully closed out the World Changers Strategic Plan, resulting in academic and co-curricular excellence. The administration, faculty, and staff have been at work developing the next three-year strategic plan to be presented to JCS families in January. We are so thankful for the opportunity to provide excellence in Christian education to our more than 800 students.

Psalm 95: 2 reminds us to,"come into His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise."  Over the weekend, our JCS 5th and 6th graders and Upper School choirs helped us kick off the holiday season as they performed some favorite Christmas songs at the Harbourside Tree Lighting event in Jupiter. Coming up just after Thanksgiving break, we are looking forward more fantastic events that support our school, celebrate the joy of the season, and share the message of Christ with our community. Some of our upcoming December JCS events include:

4th Annual ESE Christmas Classic Clay Shoot

December 1 from 8:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

This event is held at Quail Creek Plantation in Okeechobee, FL and is fun for the whole family with 100         percent of the funds raised going directly to the JCS ESE program.

"Celebrate Christmas" Fine Arts Academy Christmas Concert

December 6 at 7:00 p.m.

Our 5th & 6th grade, middle school and high school bands and choirs along with select theatre                     students will perform at the beautiful Eissey Campus Theatre in Palm Beach Gardens.

JTAA Christmas Parade "Future Christmas"

December 9 at 1:00 p.m.

Jupiter Christian will once again participate with a float in this festive parade. This year, the float theme         will center around the bright future of JCS and a staple of Jupiter life—Golf—featuring some members         of our JCS golf team with a golf course, cart, path, and green, all sponsored by PGA of America.

"The Promised One" 1st-4th grade Christmas Concert

December 11 at 7:00 p.m.

Lower school students will spread some Christmas cheer with songs celebrating the birth of Christ at         the Eissey Campus Theatre in Palm Beach Gardens.

Gardens Mall Fine Arts Academy Performance

Celebrate the season, community and our Fine Arts Academy students at a special performance                 center court at the Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens.

We hope you will make these events part of your holiday schedule. More details and ticket information is available in the latest edition of the Eagle Weekly e-newsletter and on our website.
