From the Desk of the President

At JCS, we value our parent partnership and are committed to timely and accurate communication.

As some of you may hear from your students this afternoon, the fire department was called to Jupiter Christian School to our ATC building today, Wednesday, November 14.

We want to assure parents that at no time were students or facilities in any danger and the fire department has cleared the ATC facility. In the early afternoon a strange odor was noticed and what appeared to be smoke was seen in the ATC and reported.

The fire department arrived on scene quickly and was able to identify the issue and quickly cleared the building. An older AC unit located on the ATC property had a belt that had overheated.

We want to reiterate that the ATC building is safe and  our students and outside groups who utilize the facility are in no danger. We take the safety and security of our student body, faculty,  and staff very seriously at Jupiter Christian and have strong procedures in place.  Today those procedures were followed appropriately by our faculty and staff resulting in a positive outcome.

We are thankful for a great partnership with the town of Jupiter and their immediate response.

Blessings,
