Minimester 2019

Jupiter Christian School designates a specific time, annually, for all upper school students to participate in intensive, hands-on, applied-learning service activities during the week prior to spring break.  This week is known as Minimester. The courses offered are designed to fully involve the student in meaningful endeavors. The goal is that the experiences gained will transform hearts and minds of students by challenging their beliefs and assumptions about the world.

Minimester is an academic, service—learning week, and participation is mandatory. Registration will take place October 4—19.  Registration forms must be signed by a parent, be accompanied by the appropriate deposit, and turned in to the Upper School Office. Courses are filled on a first-come, first served basis. Upon completion of each Minimester course, students will be evaluated and will receive a pass or fail grade, which will be listed on their permanent transcript.

Please review the course descriptions and complete the Minimester Course Request Form. Registration will take place October 4 - 19. Trips will be filled in the order in which enrollment is received. Should you have any questions, please call the upper school office at 561-354-1923.
