Our JCS grandparents are an important part of the Jupiter Christian family. We are excited to celebrate the special role they play in partnering with us to nurture, encourage and guide our students in living a life for Christ. This Friday, September 7, we invite our grandparents to join us for a special Grandparents Day event on our East Campus. All grandparents of students in grades PK2-1st are welcome to come and spend some time in their grandchild's classroom as they seek to honor their grandparents and share a bit of their school day experience. The schedule below shows the specific time to attend based on each grandchild's grade and classroom. Please RSVP so we will have an accurate count of who will be attending. We are looking forward to celebrating our special guests! View the full schedule here.
Join us on Friday, September 28th from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m for a great night of fun, music, fellowship, and a chance to connect with other JCS families. Make sure to stop by the JCS tent near the amphitheater for a special gift for each family and free ice cream! We are looking forward to seeing you there.
The JCS Grace Team is excited to invite you to our Parent Fellowship meetings! We will meet at the West Campus in the Eagle's Cafe, Room 30 from 8:20-9:15 a.m. on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month. Whether you are new to school or are looking for a way to meet people or have joined us in the past, we look forward to locking arms with you and lifting up our school - and each other - in prayer. Upper School Retreats serve as a key part of the student and spiritual life at JCS. They allow students and faculty the opportunity to connect outside of the typical classroom setting while helping to establish a positive tone for the remainder of the year. This years the theme is "Rooted in Grace" and students will gather together in a time of fellowship where they will delve deeper into God's word and learn more about how we can all be part of the JCS Community of Grace.
The JCS Intramural Sports Program is designed to teach young athletes in 1st - 6th grade the fundamentals of sports in a fun, encouraging environment. Teams will be based on registrations and split so that 2nd graders are not competing against 6th graders. Practices will be once a week after school from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the FITTEAM Field. Games will typically be held on Saturday mornings although there may be makeup games during the week. The deadline to register for Intramural Soccer is tomorrow, Thursday, September 6th. This program is run solely by our volunteers (who have completed the JCS background check process) so please contact Coach Hoffman if you are interested in serving. To register, please login to PlusPortals and chose FORMS.

Parents of students in grades 5-12 are invited to join us and hear from our special guest speaker Walter Mueller. Mr. Mueller is the founder and president of the Center for Parent/Youth Understanding (CPYU) and an internationally-recognized speaker and author on contemporary youth culture. The CPYU is dedicated to "helping parents understand and respond to the complex world of their children and teens from a distinctively Christian point of view." Please don't miss out on this important opportunity to learn more about how you can guide your student and help them navigate in the world of technology.
Calling all vocalists in grades 2-6! Join us on Friday, September 14th from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. for an afternoon of singing, improving vocal skills, playing games, learning rounds and canons, and creating rhythms! The Lower School Choral Clinic is designed to generate a love for singing, increase music skills, and help raise funds for the HS Choir trip. We will meet at the covered pavilion on the West Campus after school. All this fun will be directed by the HS choir members and Upper School Choir Director, Mr. Farmer.
