For the upcoming 2018-19 school year the JCS Family will focus together on cultivating a grace-filled community. Our theme A Community of Grace will be incorporated into all aspects of the school year, from student retreats to chapels and GAP groups to faculty professional development, and more. We will launch this theme with the summer reading book, The Cure. All Upper School students in grades 7-12 will be required to read The Cure over the summer and complete a journal that will be submitted to their Bible or English teacher at the start of the year.
Thursday, May 31st is our Lower School Field Day. There will be lots of activity, water based games and most importantly—FUN! There will be drinking water stations but STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO BRING WATER BOTTLES to refill throughout the day. Looking forward to a FUN DAY!
