February 28, 2018 Open Enrollment began this week! We have received over 140 applications from students seeking admission and have already been able to offer acceptances to nearly 50 NEW students. The re-enrollment process is finishing up and we are so thankful to report that over 75% of our current families have already secured their space for 2018-2019! If you haven't had a chance to reenroll yet, your 2018-19 forms are available in PlusPortals under the FORMS link. Please be aware that the reenrollment fee will increase to $725 on March 10. Come support our Upper School Choir as they sing the National Anthem at spring training. This is an amazing honor for our choir and we'd love to see you there to show your support and enjoy a great ballgame. They will be performing Friday, March 2 at the 6:05 p.m. Astros vs. Mets game at FitTeam Ballpark of the Palm Beaches and again on Wednesday, March 7 at the 1:05 p.m. Nationals vs. Cardinals game at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium. Tickets can be purchased through the stadium box offices.
For our current families with at least one child who will be attending the Early Learning Center in the fall, we will be holding our first ELC Family Connect on Tuesday, March 13 at 8:15 am in the JCS Media Center. Join us to get to know our Early Learning Center Director Lisa Chitty and share in the celebration of this exciting new expansion for our school. Following the ELC Family Connect, at 9:30 a.m., we invite parents to stay and begin the conversation with us as we delve further into how we can ensure that the JCS family culture extends to our new center.
GRANDPARENT'S / SPECIAL FRIEND'S DAY is FRIDAY, MARCH 16th @ 9:00 a.m.! Our Pre-K3 - 6th grade students are enthusiastically preparing for our highly anticipated Grandparent's Day Program. Please be reminded that this is also an early release day and extended care is closed. PHOTOS: Please submit a favorite photo (maximum of 2 photos) of your child with his or her grandparent/special friend that will be presented during the slide show. Photo submissions are due no later than Friday, March 9th and should be uploaded via Dropbox. (Please do not email photos to your teacher. Please use the Dropbox site).
Our Annual Scholastic Book Fair will be March 12th - March 16th in the Media Center. Our theme for this year is Paws for Books!
We invite you to join us for Jupiter Christian School's Annual Golf Invitational on Friday, May 11th at The Bear's Club. Founded in 1999 by Jack and Barbara Nicklaus, The Bear's Club was created to offer members and their guests a world-class golf and club experience. Take advantage of the unique experience to play golf at one of the most luxurious, private golf resorts in the world! An individual golf experience is $450 or $1600 for a foursome.
Jupiter Christian will be participating in an Easter community outreach this year for Bow Down Church in West Palm Beach. We will be stuffing 1000 Easter eggs for the project and need your help with donations of the following items:

For the next two weeks IMPACT will be selling homemade beach bags for $5 on Wednesday mornings in the Lower School hallway. All proceeds benefit the Florida Keys.

Is there a teacher or a staff member that has made you or your child feel amazing? Or maybe someone who helped you in an unexpected way? Nominate them for the Uplifter of the Month award! Each month the PTP will gather recommendations and then honor one faculty/staff member with the award. We love teachers and staff to hear the praises from those around them. Forms will be available in the front office or they can be submitted electronically.
Summer camps at Jupiter Christian School feature a variety of day camps and sports camps taught by some of the areas top instructors! To find out more about the summer camp programming, contact Coach Hoffman. Specific dates and registration will be available in the near future.
