We are just one week away from hosting our ACSI Reaccreditation visiting team! Our team will be on-site February 25-28, 2018. Many of our faculty, staff, parents and students contributed to the reaccreditation process and our self-study has been completed with excellence. Reaccreditation Chair, Rachel Childers, and Asst. Principal for Curriculum and Instruction, Susan Rivera, both worked above and beyond in coordinating the committee reports, providing thorough editing, and in producing the final self-study report. JCS currently holds accreditation with ACSI, SACS CASI, and Advanced Ed. Read more about the re-accreditation process.

The final week to re-enroll for the 2018-2019 school year is here! Your 2018-19 forms are available in PlusPortals under the FORMS link. Please electronically complete the forms and submit the $525 non-refundable deposit per child ($1,575 maximum per family) by today - February 21st. A tremendous amount of planning must take place for every school year, and it is highly dependent upon the timely submission of re-enrollment information. We are pleased to offer reenrollment to our current families first and will open enrollment to new applicants starting February 22. Please be aware that the reenrollment fee will increase to $725 on March 10. Faculty & Staff Appreciation Week is scheduled for April 30 - May 4th.  The PTP (Parent Teacher Partnership) is hosting the first planning meeting on February 22nd at 8:15 a.m. in the Media Center.  We welcome anyone who wants to join in and help plan this fun-filled week. There will be a variety of ways to help that fit any schedule. Starbucks coffee and pastries will be served.

GRANDPARENT'S / SPECIAL FRIEND'S DAY is FRIDAY, MARCH 16th @ 9:00 a.m.! Our Pre-K3 - 6th grade students are enthusiastically preparing for our highly anticipated Grandparent's Day Program. Please be reminded that this is also an early release day and extended care is closed.

ATTIRE: Please be sure to click here for the costume requirements for your child(ren).

PHOTOS: Please submit a favorite photo (maximum of 2 photos) of your child with his or her grandparent/special friend that will be presented during the slide show. Photo submissions are due no later than Friday, March 9th and should be uploaded via Dropbox. (Please do not email photos to your teacher. Please use the Dropbox site).

ADDRESSES: Students are currently making personal invitations for each grandparent/special friend. Please click here to submit the mailing addresses for each grandma and grandpa. The deadline for address submission is February 23rd. 

Summer camps at Jupiter Christian School feature a variety of day camps and sports camps taught by some of the areas top instructors! To find out more about the summer camp programming, contact Coach Hoffman.  Specific dates and registration will be available in the near future. 

We invite you to join us for Jupiter Christian School's Annual Golf Invitational on Friday, May 11th at The Bear's Club. Founded in 1999 by Jack and Barbara Nicklaus, The Bear's Club was created to offer members and their guests a world-class golf and club experience. Take advantage of the unique experience to play golf at one of the most luxurious, private golf resorts in the world! An individual golf experience is $450 or $1600 for a foursome.

Jupiter Christian will be participating in an Easter community outreach this year for  Bow Down Church in West Palm Beach. We will be stuffing 1000 Easter eggs for the project and need your help with donations of the following items:

• Empty plastic Easter Eggs
• Individually wrapped candies such as mints, caramels, Jolly Ranchers, Starbursts, Tootsie Rolls, Lifesavers, and Swedish Fish
• Small toys
  

Donations are needed by March 7th and may be dropped off outside the main or Upper School office or in Room 201. Please, NO NUTS OR PEANUT BUTTER. Thank you for your generous donations!

For the next three weeks IMPACT will be selling homemade beach bags for $5 on Wednesday mornings in the Lower School hallway.  All proceeds benefit the Florida Keys.

All 7th and 8th grade students are invited to join us for a Decade Dance on Friday, March 2nd, from 6:00-8:30 p.m. in the JCS gymnasium. We will have an inflatable photo booth, a live DJ, refreshments and more! Tickets are $15 and can be purchased by choosing FORMS in your PlusPortals account.  Contact Mrs. Meier with any questions about this event. 

All 9th - 12th grade students are invited to join us for a Sadie Hawkins Dance (ladies will be asking the gentlemen to attend) on Friday, March 9, 2018, from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. in the JCS gymnasium.  We will have an inflatable photo booth, a live DJ, refreshments and more! Tickets are $25 and can be purchased by choosing FORMS in your PlusPortals account.  Contact Mrs. Meier with any questions about this event. 

Is there a teacher or a staff member that has made you or your child feel amazing? Or maybe someone who helped you in an unexpected way? Nominate them for the Uplifter of the Month award! Each month the PTP will gather recommendations and then honor one faculty/staff member with the award. We love teachers and staff to hear the praises from those around them. Forms will be available in the front office or they can be submitted electronically.

The Lower School is partnering with First Care for Baby Bottle Boomerang!

1. Take an empty baby bottle!
2. Fill it up!! With loose change, dollar bills, or a donation check
3. Bring it back to JCS on  2/27!!!
