Parent Meetings

Join President Steinfield and our Administrative Leadership Team for one of these important meetings to highlight the events of our school year as well as review the mission and the priorities of JCS. Our parent meetings are unique opportunities for administrators and parents to come together to fellowship and discuss the vision of JCS.

Current Pre-K3, Pre-K4, Kindergarten:

Thursday, January 25th at 8:15 a.m.

Monday, January 29th at 6:30 p.m.

Lower School:

Tuesday, January 30th at 8:15 a.m. or 6:30 p.m.
 

Upper School:

Tuesday, February 6th at 8:15 a.m. or 6:30 p.m.

2018/19 Re-Enrollment

Re-enrollment for the 2018-2019 school year is now OPEN for our current families! Your 2018-19 forms are available in PlusPortals under the FORMS link. Please electronically complete the forms and submit the $525 non-refundable deposit per child ($1,575 maximum per family) by February 21st. A tremendous amount of planning must take place for every school year, and it is highly dependent upon the timely submission of re-enrollment information. We have many new applicants awaiting acceptance into the school.  However, we always give priority to our existing students and their siblings, so please be diligent about completing the re-enrollment forms by the February 21st deadline.

Admissions Preview Days

Jupiter Christian School will host three Admissions Preview Days on:

  • Thursday, February 1 from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. (dedicated to the Early Learning Center, grades Pre-K2 – 1st)
  • Tuesday, February 13 from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.

Invite a prospective student to one of our three Admissions Preview Days and your student will receive a free dress down passCome hear from Administration and Admissions staff and take a tour of the Upper School (7-12), Lower School (2-6), or our Early Learning ages (Pre-K2 – 1). See classrooms in action and get a chance to ask questions. Please RSVP to the Admissions Office at (561) 354-1929.

The NED Show

The Lower School (grades K5-6) enthusiastically welcomed The NED Show today for a special assembly teaching students about kindness and bullying using yo-yo tricks. NED stands for:

  • Never Give Up (focus & persistence)
  • Encourage Others (kindness & shared learning)
  • Do Your Best (diligence & excellence)

This assembly was a natural extension for Lower School students, as these subjects have been discussed in our guidance lessons throughout the year. On Thursday, Lower School Chapel will follow-up with discussions focusing on the same subjects. Parents are welcome to  join us. One Act Theatre Festival

The JCS Fine Arts Academy will produce four (yes, FOUR!) different one-act plays and several musical theatre solos over the course of two days. We will be performing at the beautiful Eissey Campus Theatre at Palm Beach State on April 26th and 27thAuditions will take place on Thursday, January 25th at 3:00 p.m. in the Theatre Room. Students can pick up more information and sign up for their audition in the Upper School Office.

Grandparent's Day

SAVE THE DATE | FRIDAY, MARCH 16th @ 9:00 a.m.! Our Pre-K3 - 4th grade students are enthusiastically preparing for our highly anticipated Grandparent's Day Program.  Please be reminded that this is also an early release day and extended care is closed.

Intramural Volleyball

The JCS Intramural Sports Program is designed to teach young athletes in 3rd - 6th grade the fundamentals of sports in a fun and encouraging environment. The final day to register for Intramural Volleyball is today, 1/24 and games begin on 1/29.  This program is run solely by our volunteers, so please contact Coach Hoffman if you are interested in serving. To register, please log into PlusPortals and choose FORMS. If you have previously registered for ALL Intramural Sports, registration is not necessary.  

The Bear's Club

Save the date for Jupiter Christian School's Annual Golf Invitational on May 11th at The Bear's ClubFounded in 1999 by Jack and Barbara Nicklaus, The Bear's Club was created to offer members and their guests a world-class golf and club experience.

Upper School Yearbooks

2017-18 Upper School Yearbooks are now on sale. Deadline to order is Wednesday, February 28, 2018! (Senior and Lower School yearbooks are included in class fees. These students do not need to place an order.) Enter code 4926518.

Jeans in January

The JCS Community Service Club is collecting very gently used or new jeans for children in West Virginia from January 8th – 31st. Consider donating a pair (or two) of jeans. Bring your jeans to the JCS front office or Rm 201. Please also consider donating $1.00 per pair to help with UPS shipping.

Candy Gram Orders

Send your son or daughter the World's Finest Chocolate for Valentine's Day and make them feel special with a personal note from you! Choose from delicious World's Finest Crisp Bars, Caramel Bars or Almond Bars. Candy Grams are only $2 each! Payment can be made to the front office, upper school office or homeroom class. Your student will receive their candy gram on Tuesday, February 14! All orders are due Friday, February 2nd!

Keys Outreach

Impact is a group of 5th grade girls who strive to impact their school and community through kindness and outreach projects. Impact is collecting T-shirts (new and old) for an outreach project to benefit the Florida Keys. The girls will be using the T-shirts to create beach bags. T-shirt collection will take place until January 30th. The beach bags will be sold at school and the profit from these sales will be sent down to the Keys with the JCS team in March.
