Uplifters of the Month

Mary Kaye Hagenbuch has been a member of the JCS faculty since 2002. Her sweet demeanor is infectious as she graces our hallways with the pure joy and professionalism, Mary Kaye is a gifted teacher with an ability to impart to her students a knowledge and passion for science with a Biblical worldview. Here is a small sample of what parents have said about Mrs, Hagenbuch "She cares not only about the academic growth of her students but their spiritual connection and emotional well-being too." "Mrs. Hagenbuch is a wonderful example of the JCS mission in action," "She has gone above and beyond the call of duty in making us feel part of the JCS family."

Matt Winters is making a difference in the lives of our students. As the Assistant Principal of Student Development he consistently strives to model Christ in his daily walk. Matt can always be found engaged with our students around campus and on the field as our JCS soccer coach. He is gifted in his ability to guide our students and help them see themselves through the eyes of Christ. "He has been a blessing to our family and is always going beyond his duty to care for, encourage, exhort and help my son. Way to go Mr. Winters!"

Christmas at JCS

The Student Government Association is excited to sponsor a fun week of community building and Christmas cheer for Upper School students the week of December 11th-15th"Christmas at JCS" will provide an opportunity for Upper School students to come together as a community and get in the Christmas spirit.  *All attire must follow the JCS handbook guidelines for dress-down days.  

Friday, December 15th:  Candy Cane Day

  • Come to school dressed in red & white with jeans
  • Wear red & santa hats to the home basketball game at 6 p.m.
Junior Eagle Club

Lower School Basketball Night is this Friday, 12/15 at 7pm! Wear red and/or a Santa hat and watch the Eagles take on District rival Highlands Christian.  Complimentary slice of pizza and lower school shooting competition on the court at halftime! Help us pack the house for the district showdown! 

 

Coach Mully's Lower School Skills Clinic is this Saturday, 12/16 from 10 a.m. to noon in the gym. Students in grades K-5th are invited to take part in Coach Brian Mullican's Jr. Eagle basketball skills clinic. Learn basketball skills, meet the varsity team and coaches and learn what it takes to be a future JCS basketball star!

A Few of My Favorite Things

We are excited that our Kindergarten and Preschool classes will be performing on Tuesday, December 19th at 9:00 a.m. for the on-campus Christmas program of A Few of My Favorite Things. Please have children come dressed in their Christmas Best. A small cookie and punch reception will be held in the classroom afterwards. If your child plans to stay, please send in a uniform to change into, a lunch and a snack or your child may go home with you afterwards.

Final Exam Schedule

The second quarter is quickly coming to a close and Semester Exams are upon us. We are very proud of our students and all that they have accomplished during this first semester of the year. Exam week is scheduled for December 18 - 21, with a dismissal time of 11:55 a.m. each day. Important exam week reminders:

  • It is very important that students be well rested and present for all exams.
  • Make-up exams are for emergencies only and require prior approval from the Upper School Principal's Office.
  • Please understand that all efforts must be made to stay on schedule.
  • If a high school student does not have an exam scheduled during a particular block of time, they are not required to be in school.
  • Please note that study halls are available to middle school students with elective classes on particular days, or they may choose to sign-out early if they bring a note in from home.

Please also assist us in encouraging our students to continue to work hard, to put their best effort forward, and to be faithful to reach their full potential inside and outside of the classroom. Christmas Social

The JCS Parent Fellowship invites you to join us for a fun Christmas Social on Thursday, December 21st in the Cafe from 8:15 - 9:30 a.m.  This will be a great way to connect with fellow parents, snack on tasty treats and take a pause during the busy season.  The PTP is catering the treats, so simplay RSVP if you are attending.  Be sure to check out our prayer request box in the Front Office. 

Keys Outreach

Impact is a group of 5th grade girls who strive to impact their school and community through kindness and outreach projects. Impact is collecting T-shirts (new and old) for an outreach project to benefit the Florida Key's. The girls will be using the T-shirts to create beach bags. T-shirt collection will take place until January 30th. The beach bags will be sold at school and the profit from these sales will be sent down to the Key's with the JCS team in March. 

Family Business Directory

The Jupiter Christian School Business Directory will be available to the JCS Community in January.   If you have a business that you would like to have featured (Food/Entertainment/Contractors/Real Estate, etc.) please follow the link below and add your information or drop a business card off to Mr. Hoffman during car line.
