Dear JCS Parents,

I pray that your family is well and that your children are having a great start to the second quarter of the school year.  I want you to know that as a school we recognize the tremendous importance of our partnership with you. 

On Friday, November 10th at 9 am, grades K5 - 4th grade, our Lower School Choir (5th and 6th) and our Upper School's Band and Choir, will be performing in honor of our Veterans' service and resolve to keep America safe and free. 

The school attire for the Veterans Day Program is:

• K5 - 4th grade: uniform bottom with red uniform shirt
• Lower School Choir: uniform bottom with red uniform shirt
• Upper School Choir: all black attire (shirts, pants and choir gowns)
• Upper School Band: all black attire 

Three important reminders for Veterans Day on Friday, November 10th are:

• It is an Early Release day with an 11:30 am (US) or 11:45 am (LS) pick up.
• There is no Extended Care. The entire school and all of our offices close at noon.
• There is no Preschool on this day.
  

We are so excited for our program this year.  As you have hopefully seen in our weekly newsletters and announcements, we are pleased to have Congressman Brian Mast join us as our Guest Speaker!  We hope you have invited your family members who have served our country to come and enjoy the morning with us. We will be honoring these brave men and women with a Veterans Brunch from Freshii in the Media Center, immediately following our program.  We will also offer preferred seating for Veterans in the Gymnatorium for the ceremony at 9:00 a.m.
 
As a blessing to our Veterans, we would like to save our parking lot for them. We are asking all of our JCS faculty, staff, students, and parents to park at Jupiter Lanes Bowling alley located at 350 Maplewood Drive. We will have shuttles running until 8:45am with returning shuttles beginning when the program concludes.  Please feel free to contact the Lower School office at (561) 354-1927,  Michelle Hoffman in the Upper School, or Susan Rush in the Lower School with any performance or attire questions.  We look forward to connecting and celebrating with you!
