JCS Student Newsletter

This year, Jupiter Christian School has had the exciting opportunity to begin a student newspaper for 7th through 12th grade. This publication will exist to help foster a love of writing, art, photography, and graphic design in our student body by presenting students gifted in these areas with a forum in which to see their work published and distributed. Our student journalists will also grow in their ability to interview, edit, critique, and report. We will be publishing four print and four digital editions this year, and we welcome new student talent throughout the year. Financial support is also greatly welcomed. Please contact Mr. Fields for details.  Read the Fall 2017 Edition here

Community Service Club

Let's move ahead in time…its November 1st…do you have too much candy in the house?  You don't want it to go to waist, um waste, do you? Bring it to school!  The Lower School Student Council will sort it and give the "regular" candy to the JCS Community Service Club to use in the Shoeboxes or in the Christmas Stockings for Jupiter Head Start, the WV Mission and Bow Down Church in WPB.  Or, buy an extra bag of Skittles packs or Tootsie Pops or Snickers and donate them to the cause.  Drop your donations off at one of these three locations on campus by Friday:

  • Front office with Mrs. Copeland
  • Room 201 with Mrs. Williams
  • Room 101 with Mrs. Eve

Uplifter of the Month Nominations

Is there a teacher or a staff member that has made you or your child feel amazing? Or maybe someone who helped you in an unexpected way? Nominate them for the Uplifter of the Month award! Each month the PTP will gather recommendations and then honor one faculty/staff member with the award. We love teachers and staff to hear the praises from those around them. Forms will be available in the front office or they can be submitted electronically.
