Q1 Honor Roll

It is our pleasure to congratulate our students that made the Principal's List and Honor Roll for the 1st quarter.  We recognize that it requires a significant amount of effort and dedication to attain the level of academic success that each of these students have reached.

As part of our desire to celebrate their hard work, we would like to invite our 5th-12th Grade Quarter 1 Principal's List/Honor Roll Students to enjoy bagels and juice compliments of the PTP on Tuesday, November 7th. 

  • Upper School students can stop by anytime from 7:15 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. in the Breezeway
  • 5th and 6th grade students will join Mr. Petree at 8:15 a.m. in the Covered Pavilion

Donna Bartz, Uplifter of the Month

Congratulations to Mrs. Donna Bartz for receiving the honor of October's Uplifter of the Month. Mrs. Bartz's warm heart and happy smile shines for all of her students and makes them feel welcome and loved EVERY day! She renews the happiness and joy within her students. We are truly blessed by Mrs. Bartz and are thankful to have her in the Third Grade at JCS!

 
PTP General Meeting

The PTP meeting previously scheduled for Friday, October 27th at 8:30 a.m. has been postponed until Thursday November 16th at 8:30 a.m. Parents we know its been a busy school year and we've only just completed our first quarter, so with you in mind, we are postponing our kick off PTP Meeting until November. More information will be coming soon, but we want you to know that we truly appreciate and value your willingness to serve as part of our JCS Family.

 
Veteran's Day

JCS is pleased to announce our 26th Annual Veterans Day Ceremony featuring Congressman Brian Mast on November 10th at 9:00 a.m. Our Lower School, grades K5 - 6th, and our Upper School's Band and Choir, will be performing in honor of our amazing military men and women. Join us on this special day by recognizing what our veterans have achieved and encouraging them in their resolve to keep America strong and free.

 
Homecoming, Pep Rally, Spirit Week

Hollywood Auction & Gala

The Hollywood Gala and Auction is coming on November 11th! Don't forget to RSVP by sending in your response cards with a check for your tickets.  Online registration is now open on the Auction Site!  The Auction Committee cannot wait to see you there.

ESE Clays Shoot

Please join us on Saturday, December 2rd from 8:00 - 2:30 for the 3rd Annual Christmas Classic Sporting Clays Shoot that promises fun for the whole family! Activities will include: Kid's Village, Bungee Trampoline, 5-Stand for Novice Shooters, BB Gun Range for Kids, Kid's Crafts, Nail and Face Painting, Photo Booth and much more!! The event is being held at Quail Creek Plantation
, 12399 NE 224th St. in Okeechobee, FL 34972.  100% of the funds raised by this event go directly to the JCS ESE Program. 

 

JCS Families… do you have friends or co-workers that might be looking for a school for their children? Our annual Admissions Open House is just around the corner and is a perfect event to invite your friends to! The Open House will take place on Saturday, October 28 at 9:30 a.m.  Please invite your friends or contact the Admissions Office with any questions. 

 
Pink Out

A PINK OUT dress-down day is scheduled for Thursday, October 26 for Upper School (Grades 7th – 12).  The funds raised will benefit the Jupiter Medical Center's Oncology Research. 

 

The Varsity Cheerleaders will be selling pink pom poms at the PINK OUT game for $5 each.  We will also raffle a pink Simbi bracelet with a Hope charm.  The funds raised during the game will be used to purchase 100 pink roses for the cancer patients at Jupiter Medical Center-Oncology Center.  


Heads up and get ready to catch a pass! Varsity Cheerleaders will be tossing out FREE MINI FOOTBALLS provided by JCS Booster Club! 

 
Financial Aid

On Monday, October 30th at 6:00 pm in the Media Center, we will be conducting a Financial Aid Workshop for high school parents. This presentation will provide parents with an overview of college financial aid and scholarship eligibility. Florida Bright Futures and Federal Aid will be covered in detail. Community Service Club

Let's move ahead in time…its November 1st…do you have too much candy in the house?  You don't want it to go to waist, um waste, do you? Bring it to school!  The Lower School Student Council will sort it and give the "regular" candy to the JCS Community Service Club to use in the Shoeboxes or in the Christmas Stockings for Jupiter Head Start, the WV Mission and Bow Down Church in WPB.  Or, buy an extra bag of Skittles packs or Tootsie Pops or Snickers and donate them to the cause.  Drop your donations off at one of these three locations on campus:

  • Front office with Mrs. Copeland
  • Room 201 with Mrs. Williams
  • Room 101 with Mrs. Eve
