JCS Open 9/14
Welcome Back

JCS Students and Parents,

I trust this e-mail finds you and your family doing well following Hurricane Irma.  Many in our community continue clean-up efforts and some are still without power.  Please continue to pray for members of our community who are traveling home this week after evacuating in advance of the storm.  Please continue to keep in prayer those in Southwest Florida and The Keys who were most affected by Hurricane Irma and have several weeks of clean up ahead.

JCS will reopen for school on Thursday, September 14, 2017, and all co-curriculars and athletics will resume as scheduled.  Power has been restored across campus, all internal systems are back online, including e-mail and PlusPortals.  A special thank you to our Facilities Team, IT Team, and many volunteers, including a crew from Christ Fellowship Jupiter who worked many extra hours to ensure the readiness and safety of our physical plant.

Administration understands that circumstances vary greatly for each family, and as such absences will be excused for those students unable to return to school on Thursday and Friday.  Please make the decision that is best for your family; we will work with all our school families to make the transition back to school as smooth as possible.  Administration has communicated with the Town of Jupiter Police Department regarding our plans to open campus on Thursday.  We would like to remind all families to use caution while traveling on the roads; those intersections where traffic lights are not functioning are to be treated as a four way stop for all vehicles.

Should you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact President Dan Steinfield.  Absences should be reported directly to each division office:

We look forward to seeing our JCS Family on Thursday morning!

Dan Steinfield
President
