Based on the information available at this time regarding Hurricane Irma, Jupiter Christian School will be closed on Thursday and Friday (September 7 & 8) to prepare for the impending storm. The Jupiter Christian Administration recognizes the amount of work each family will face in preparation for the hurricane and want to ensure adequate time for preparation. The Administration will follow up on Friday by 3 pm with an update to the status of school the week of September 11. The status update Friday by 3 pm will be sent via text, e-mail, and will also appear on the JCS website. The status of the week of September 11 will depend on the track the Hurricane takes over the next 72 hours.

The middle school retreat will continue as planned for Wednesday, September 6. Seventh and Eighth grade students will return to JCS at 5 pm on Wednesday. Extended care will be available on Wednesday until 5 pm. All other after school activities, including athletics, will be cancelled on Wednesday afternoon.
