In September 1963, Jupiter Christian School opened its doors with a mission to glorify God by educating young leaders spiritually, academically, physically, and socially with Christ-centered programs offered in a nurturing community. From the very first registered student, Vanessa Rood Mortenson, to the 880 registered students in grades PK2-12 today, JCS remains committed to excellence in Christian education. These are exciting days at Jupiter Christian School! This year we have seen enrollment growth, with student numbers we have not seen since 2011. Jupiter Christian School just completed the third and final year of our World Changers Strategic Plan, advancing initiatives which included academics, athletics, fine arts, spiritual life, technology, and facilities.
In the second half of the 18-19 school year, we developed a new strategic plan in partnership with faculty, staff, parents, students, and community partners. We look forward to seeing how our four key imperatives will enable us to continue to deliver on our mission to educate students in a nurturing community so that they can excel in life and engage the world for Jesus Christ. As a community, we have a deep sense of gratitude to the Lord for His continued blessing and we are filled with excitement as we look to see JCS move to the next level of excellence in Christian education.
The Annual Giving Program is the cornerstone of JCS’s fundraising efforts that allows us to invest in added resources and provide new opportunities needed to mentor and nurture the leaders of tomorrow. Your single contribution has the power to impact the educational experience of all JCS students, as well as the remarkable work of all JCS teachers and the environments in which they teach. A centralized Annual Giving Program fosters unity and community, focuses donors and donor dollars to yield the maximum impact on JCS students, and coordinates and communicates the purpose of fundraising activities.
