Home Education Programs

Jupiter Christian School is proud to partner with home education families in two ways:

2nd – 6th grade home education students may apply to participate in our intramural sports. Each quarter a different sport is offered immediately after school (approximately twice a week) as a way to connect to other students and enjoy friendly, coed competition. Applications for intramurals will open around the start of the school year and will be open through the last quarter of the school year.

7th - 12th grade home education students may apply to participate in our Home Education Program. Home education students must participate in 1 or 2 classes on campus and may also participate in extracurricular offerings such as athletics, arts, retreats, and more. The Home Education Program is intended as a supplement to the student’s regular home education program coursework and as such, JCS may not offer guidance/graduation services or a diploma to Home Education students. Home Education families are responsible to independently arrange all coursework outside of JCS as well as ensure all required state requirements are met to graduate high school. Home Education Program Applications for the 2020/21 school year will open April 15, 2020 and will close August 1, 2021.

JCS "Athlete-Only" Home Education Student Program -7th-12th Grade
Starting with the 2020-21 school year, our Athletic Office will be offering the opportunity for FHSAA eligible home school students to participate in athletics at JCS without taking any classes. To honor the commitment of our full-time students, Athlete-only and Home Education participants are limited to 10-20% of each roster. Fall, Winter, and Spring application deadlines will be listed on this page. (Multi-sport athletes need only fill out one application per year.)
