DUAL ENROLLMENT AND ADVANCED PLACEMENT CLASSES 

JCS has established a partnership with Palm Beach Atlantic University which allows students to enroll in college coursework while on the Jupiter Christian campus. These classes will be offered in conjunction with their traditional curriculum. Students must hold a 3.0 cumulative GPA and have completed their sophomore year to participate. In addition to DE, JCS offers 12 Advanced Placement courses in English, History, Math, Science, Fine Arts, and Computer Science. 

FACULTY

The majority of High School faculty holds either a master’s, doctorate degree, and/or teaching credential. All teachers hold a bachelor’s degree and are certified through the Association of Christian Schools International.

We are committed to preparing your students for the 21st century workplace. At JCS, technology is integrated regularly into the curriculum classroom. We offer a 2:1 student to device ratio. Students use iPads, MacBook Airs, and PC desktops with numerous apps to augment the educational experience both at school and at home. Every grade incorporates technology for inquiry-based, student-directed, hands-on learning. We also have SMART Technology in every classroom, bringing together all the technology and content in the classroom seamlessly. SMART TV displays help our teachers leverage student devices more meaningfully, while easily managing connected devices, content, and learning experiences – both in and out of the classroom.

Often the middle school years can be confusing, turbulent, and isolating, so for a child to understand they were made in the image of Christ, they must be in a supportive environment with teachers and staff who have a heart for and training in discipleship. Our middle school provides the following to ensure each child can reach their full God-given potential:

· Walking in Truth Bible curriculum

· Weekly chapel and GAP groups

· Daily homeroom and Bible period

· Elective offerings to strengthen and showcase the interests, gifts, and abilities of students including General Music, Band and Choir, Spanish, Art, Drama, Computers, Library and PE.

· Club Offerings: Art, Photography, Baking, Chess, Guitar, STEM and more!

Our mission at JCS is to teach the mind, reach the heart, and inspire servant leadership within our students. One of the ways we live out and realize our mission is through a yearly, long-standing, and favored tradition here at JCS! This week is focused on allowing our students to Reflect, Enrich, Affirm, Create, and Hear as we intentionally connect spiritual formation and classroom learning with service opportunities throughout our local, national, and global community. In addition, students get to see how they can have an impact on the world and others as they are available to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.

As an integral part of JCS college-preparatory programming, the Pathways are designed to expose students to professional fields and career opportunities through specialized curriculum, mentoring relationships, and experiential learning. Alongside general education requirements, the JCS Pathways Program is a focused, innovative course of study to prepare students to be competitive and successful in college in the current professional climate. JCS students have the opportunity to hone critical industry skills, make strides toward their future goals, and connect with internship and career opportunities. We currently offer four distinct Pathways, with new opportunities for additional programming on the horizon!

Jupiter Christian School is a member of the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA). Jupiter Christian’s athletic program includes opportunities for both Middle School and JV/Varsity level teams and features basketball, baseball, cheerleading, cross-country, football, golf, lacrosse, track & field, volleyball, beach volleyball, softball, swimming, and wrestling. Additional opportunities for involvement include community service, Bible studies, mission trips, academic and fine arts clubs, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honor Society, National Art Honors Society, Tri-M Music Honors Society, and Student Government Association, and more.

The Prefect Board Program at Jupiter Christian School is designed for select 12^th grade students to join JCS administration in our goal of teaching the mind, reaching the heart, and inspiring servant leadership. Prefects apply to one of eight positions in the program. After their application and teacher recommendations, seniors go through a series of interviews with High School Administration and former Prefects before being selected. Once selected, they serve as either our Senior, Spiritual Life, Academic, Athletic, Fine Arts, Communication, or Business Prefects. As members of the Prefect Board Program they will receive 1 on 1 mentorship from the director of their area (ex: Athletic Prefect mentored by Athletic Director). Each Prefect will also create and fill out their own Board of 4, one member from each grade 9th-12th. By the end of their senior year, each Prefect Board Member will have mentored and been mentored, as well as played an important part in major actions, decisions, and changes within the areas of our school where they serve. 

The purpose of the National Honor Society is "to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in the students of secondary schools."

JCS currently has National Honors Society and National Art Honors Society. We will soon be adding National Spanish Honors Society. We have approximately 30 students participating in our exclusive NHS offerings!

An international organization that prepares high school and college students for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. DECA helps students develop leadership, communication, and professional skills through hands-on experiences, competitive events, and community involvement.

At Jupiter Christian School, our DECA chapter provides students with opportunities to:

• Compete in events that simulate real-world business scenarios and test knowledge in areas like entrepreneurship, business strategy, and customer service.
• Develop critical skills such as public speaking, teamwork, and problem-solving.
• Participate in conferences and networking events with industry leaders.
• Earn recognition, scholarships, and awards for their achievements.
