Elementary School

Our Elementary School offers a nurturing environment where small groups and differentiated instruction contribute significantly to the quality of our academic program. We provide students the necessary knowledge, skills, and spiritual foundation to become leaders and transformers at the next level and beyond.

The elementary years are when a child’s dreams, interests, and gifts begin to unfold.

ACADEMICS AND CURRICULUM

A growth mindset and love for learning characterize the elementary years. Students grow in academic skills, social understanding, biblical knowledge, and resilience as they become more independent. Students are evaluated regularly through various classroom methods as well as measurement tools such as Fountas and Pinnell Benchmark Assessment and NWEA MAP Growth Assessment to assess comprehension and mastery of skills in Reading, Language, Math and Science depending on grade level. Jupiter Christian utilizes numerous publishers and texts to comprise our standards-aligned, academically rigorous, and Christ-centered curriculum. Differentiated learning, centers, and small group learning are intentionally integrated into the daily routine.
