Mr. Jacob Godino
Master of Education, Adult/Organizational Development, Temple University 2015
A former Division 1 college basketball player for Temple University, Mr. Godino came to JCS in 2018 with experience in coaching, teaching, and program coordination ranging from K-12 athletics to work experience in programs on the college and professional levels. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport and Recreation Management as well as a Master of Education degree in Adult and Organizational Development from Temple University.
Mr. Godino began his career after college as a statistical analyst for the Philadelphia 76ers, where he gained a working knowledge of the NBA. He later taught as an adjunct professor for Temple University. Most recently he served as an athletic coordinator for 17 varsity sports teams as well as the basketball coach for middle and high school teams at a Christian K-12 school in Pennsylvania. In his role there, he was also instrumental in coordinating and implementing several capital projects for the school including securing full HD LED scoreboards, the redesign and upgrade of the gym flooring, research and design of the turf athletic field and locker/training rooms as well as the creation of a hall of fame program. He recalls, having grown up with loving and supportive Christian parents, how the Lord's hand has been at work in his life in both athletics and academics. Because of this, he has a calling to help students reach excellence in athletics while they grow closer to Jesus.
At JCS, Mr. Godino utilizes his education, experience and talent to not only lead our campus operations team but also to guide our student athletes to success on the court and in the mission to make a difference for Christ.
