Mrs. Lisa Chitty
Mrs. Chitty has an extensive background in Educational Administration, Management, and Business Development. Her vast experience includes program implementation and evaluation, performance improvement, accreditation compliance, facilitation and teaching, curriculum and instruction, instructional design and professional development for programs from infant through High School.
In May of 2017, Mrs. Chitty and her husband became the owners of Apple Tree Academy (4 Preschools) in Martin County where she has successfully led them in transitioning to a family of Christian preschools. She served as the Senior Vice President of Business Development with ChanceLight Behavioral Health and Education from 2006 to 2017. While with ChanceLight, Lisa successfully developed educational partnerships with Chicago Public Schools (the fourth largest school district in the country), Cobb County School District (GA), School District of Philadelphia (PA), Clark County School District (NV) resulting in providing alternative education programs for at-risk students.
Prior to her work there, Mrs. Chitty was the Founder and Director of Jupiter Academy for 12 years beginning in 1994 and the Executive Director of Professional Learning Center before that leading back to the early 80s. She was instrumental in the development of the mission and philosophy of the private school as well as surpassing projected enrollment and revenue year after year. She built and supported a superior team of educators through teacher evaluations supported by academic accountability who implemented cooperative learning, learning styles, and team teaching. Her experience encompasses the many facets of leadership in early learning education including coordinating all aspects of private school education, from administration, development and admissions to fostering positive interaction with children and parents to further enhance educational opportunities.
Her wealth of experience and dedication to excellence in Christian education is built on an impressive educational background that includes a Bachelor Degree in Professional Studies (Barry University) and an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education (Palm Beach Community College) as well as a State of Florida Director Credential Advanced Level. She has also served as Adjunct Professor for Palm Beach Community College. Mrs. Chitty and her husband John are very active in the local community including serving on the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Accreditation as team members, participants in the Christ Fellowship Kaleo School of Biblical Leadership , Place of Hope Steering Team Committee members, and Place of Hope licensed Foster Care Parents.
