Biography

Darlaine is a results oriented leader with passion to develop people, organizations and strategic business plans. She has a strong track record of growing businesses and leading regional/country/global teams within both entrepreneurial environments and large corporations. Darlaine has extensive experience in market research, brand management, consumer marketing, innovative research techniques, strategy development and implementation, problem solving, and the creation of new initiatives and holistic marketing plans. She has a passion to make a positive difference in both people and organizations.

Darlaine worked at Procter & Gamble (P&G) from 1996 to 2015, where she held numerous executive positions in their Cincinnati, OH Worldwide Headquarters including Beauty & Health Care Market Strategy & Planning Consumer Market Knowledge (CMK) Director where she was responsible for the shopper insights and go-to-market strategies across all P&G Beauty & Health brands (ten billion and ten 500+ million $ brands) and categories. Darlaine was a founding member of Shopper Based Design as she designed, developed, and led the creation of the first ever P&G Shopper Lab and Innovation Center in the world across all P&G categories, departments, and total retail store design. Darlaine relocated to Baltimore, MD in 2007 as the Global Cosmetics & Expert Beauty CMK Director responsible for research and insights activation for the COVERGIRL and Max Factor Cosmetics businesses in 70+ global markets. In 2012, Darlaine was selected for an International assignment in a top billion $ market for Procter & Gamble and relocated to Toronto, Canada. While there, she led the Consumer Marketing Knowledge organization for all P&G brands across Canada with responsibilities for teams across all Local Business Units, Commercial Operations, Market Strategy & Planning and all Retail Market Customer Teams. In addition, Darlaine was the former Director of Research for Sony Pictures Entertainment Online where she directed all research and strategic recommendations for Columbia TriStar/Sony Pictures Interactive while located in Los Angeles, CA.

Brought up in a Christian home, Darlaine came to know the Lord at an early age through the love and guidance of her parents. She was actively involved in her Church’s youth group and sang in the Choir. She re-dedicated her life to Jesus Christ in 2008, and is thankful to be part of the JCS family as the Interim President and Chief Advancement Officer. She is enjoys spending time with family, her husband David, daughter Victoria, her two bonus children, Jordan and Kelsey, and her parents, who now live in Palm Beach Gardens.
