Intramural basketball signups are ending, forms must be turned in by Monday 1/26 to prevent late fee. Teams are being assembled this week and practices start this Saturday, 1/31/15. All students grade 3-6 may participate, registration forms are located at the front office or online under "Athletics: forms"
Eric Barnes and Will Clervil placed 2nd, Dorson StFard placed 3rd, and Austin Tuttle place 4th in their weight classes and the team finished 8th overall. Great job Eagles!!
Jupiter Christian is excited to announce that Mike lord will be taking over as head baseball coach for the 2015 season.
In a career that covers almost thirty years, Mike has had the rare opportunity to experience athletics in a variety of key leadership positions and at all levels. He has experience as both a high school and Christian college athletic administrator, as well as a college assistant and head baseball coach at several Christian universities.
Mike also was on staff with the San Diego Padres for ten years as a major league batting practice pitcher, along with three of those seasons as the defensive positioning coach as well as three years as an international scout with the Boston Red Sox.
His many years of experience in coaching and leadership positions will provide a strong foundation for his new role as baseball coach at Jupiter Christian.
The Theatre Arts Department proudly presents, "The Necklace" and stage adaptation of the short story by Guy de Maupassant. The show will be presented at the newly renovated Performing Arts Academy of Jupiter, located at 6743 W. Indiantown Road, Suite 34. The show opens Friday, January 30, at 7 p.m. with a matinee showing the following day at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 and go on sale the week of 1/19, but can be purchased at the door. Seating is limited.

JCS will be hosting Boys Soccer District games on Wednesday, Jan 21 and Friday, Jan 23 on our school field. The Eagles will be playing in the first game at 1pm on Wednesday- Come out and cheer them on to victory! JCS students will be dismissed to attend if they have a signed permission slip. All FHSAA State Series games are $6 entry fee for everyone (Booster club memberships not valid for these games) GO EAGLES!!
We are proud to announce that Paul Sellers will be stepping into the Head Golf Coach position for the 2015-16 school year. Coach Sellers has been the assistant coach for the last two years and is currently enrolled in a professional golfing program where he is striving to attain PGA Instructor status. Coach Sellers has previously coached Boys Middle School and Intramural basketball for 10 years. With a Masters Degree in Education, Coach Sellers has been a staff member at JCS for 14 years, where he and his family have been an integral part of our school.
We would like to thank Coach Earl Puckett for his commitment as the head coach of the golf team over the last 2 years. He will continue to be involved with the golf program as the assistant coach for the 2015 season.
Our Boys Varsity Soccer team, led by Dr. Brower, is having an incredible run with a 14-0 record so far. The entire team has worked together to only allow their opponents to score a total of 5 goals to date. With 3 home games left and Senior Night on Thursday, January 15th, they are on track to make this year unforgettable! Come out and support our JCS Eagles as they go into the post season!
