Fine Arts

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16.

The Fine Arts teach us about ourselves, about the world, and indirectly about God Himself. Being an artist; visual or performing, is something that happens within a person, but is expressed outwardly. As Christians, we desire to pursue godliness in everything we do, say, and think. The artistic principles of unity, beauty, balance, harmony, and creativity are also attributes of God.

The Fine Arts Academy at Jupiter Christian School endeavors to teach and model high standards in art production/performance. Excellence in execution of artistic principles, excellence in the use of materials, and excellence in the expression of a morally acceptable ideas are essential in our classrooms and studios. These standards require our students to learn patience, self-control, and success through practice.
The Fine Arts Academy challenges our students to:

“Tell your STORY, Shape your CULTURE, Integrate your FAITH, and Develop your ARTISTRY.”
